Any ideas about this antique jewelry?
I was given this jewelry by my mother. I was told it was passed on through our family, but I thought it was something from the sixties. A matching bracelet and clip earring set, it is made of either brass or copper and has huge chunks of silver. It’s super heavy. Some of the pieces of silver have come off and I can tell it has been repaired before. Any ideas what time period it could be from? I’d love to get the piece restored as well as know more about it. Thanks!

Can anyone give their opinion of these ring designs that I like?
First let me say, I’m not the "conventional" type of wife or bride. I’ve always liked unusual jewelry. My husband is going to have a engagement and wedding ring made for me, because I have an allergen to yellow/white gold and silver. He will be having it made in Bahrain, when he deploys. So making my new rings won’t cost a fortune. I love the designs of these rings, but, I can’t decide which one I would really like to have made for me out of platinum. If you have alternate rings, ideas or websites I would appreciate a link or a picture.

What are black diamonds, are they as valuable as white diamonds or yellow (precious…?
…diamonds)? Are they real?
I was flipping through some adds and saw black diamond earrings. I worked a bit in a jewelry store in 1999-2000 and never heard of them (we clearly didn’t sell them, I wasn’t a jeweler though, just worked the registers and watch areas mostly).
Anyway, I was wondering what are black diamonds? They look pretty neat online and in this ad? Are they real or synthetic? What causes them to be black? What color are they (I know D or E were very good colors for classic/clear diamonds and the other end of the diamond spectrum I thought were just precious (yellow stone) diamonds….
Should Black Diamonds be priced at a similar level to their white/yellow counterparts, or should they be cheaper?

What do you call this style of Engagement ring?
It’s an antique from the teens and instead of along the band with its diamonds and filigree… its from 2nd knuckle to 3rd. shaped like an oval-ish diamond… and its covered in filigree and has a cute diamond in the center.
I want to look online for some Antique jewelry instead of running to all the pawn shops in town… but all I’m finding are the ones that look like something I can get now days except their old.
