winter formal outfit help!???!!?
so my winter formal is in like 2 weeks, and i still dont know how im doing my hair, and what shoes to wear, and how to do my makeup, and what jewelry to wear. My dress is a knee length, black, boxy, lace dress with a wide neck collar. My hair has long layers(its about5 inches below my shoulders). I have 2 options for necklaces: pearls(real!) and this antique silver rose choker necklace. Usually for makeup i go pretty dramatic, mostly playing up my brown eyes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

What should I do if the moving company people have stolen some of my things?
I just moved from CT to Colorado, and the moving company has been giving us a really hard time. They brought half of our things almost a week late, and still haven’t delivered the remainder.
One of my boxes that contained an antique jewelry box (with a lot of my jewelry in it) looked like it had been opened. The jewelry box inside was smashed, and three of my necklaces are missing. One natural pearl, one gold and diamond heart (both sent from my Oma in Germany), and one heart of silver and gold (given to me by my mother as a graduation present).
All three of these pieces are very important to me… and I don’t know what to do.

Antique pearl necklace?
I have a Pearl Necklace that is about 70-90 years old it has a four diamond clasp and if you flip the clasp over it has the shape of a diamond with an H in the middle; what jewelry signature is this?
Someone told me it could be a family Initial? I’d really like some answers. I looked all over but can’t find anything..
John Hardy’s jewelry style looks nothing like the style I have though, and by looking up his signature it’s totally different. So that can’t be it. ;|

Is it strange to collect women's jewelry?
I used to collect women’s jewelry…I would win it in auctions on ebay, buy it in antiques shops….this way, when it was mom’s birthday, I had something for her and didn’t have to run around. I gave my sister a really nice pearl necklace set with diamonds. I get good deals on this stuff. I even bought an engagement ring in case I ever need it!
I figured that if I had a need to give a woman a gift, I would have it ready to go. I do not wear the women’s jewelry…I am not a transvestite. But some of my friends found out I was buying women’s jewelry and teased me about it. They thought it was strange.
What do you think?

I work in a small locally owned jewelry store. I’m pretty much in charge of inventory and what we carry. My boss was speaking with another store we network with about an unrelated issue, and they happened to mention that ever since they introduced Pandora Jewelry, they can’t keep it in stock and we should try it. So naturally, I’m in charge of finding out how popular it is, since we carry nothing like it (we mostly carry estate/antique jewelry, pearls and bridal and do a lot of custom work). The store that mentioned it was selling well is in Vermont, we are in Arizona, so Im not sure of the difference in east coat vs west coast clients. Can you give me some advice about an antique necklace?
So I have this necklace, well technically it’s a chocker I guess, and it belonged to my great-grandmother. I’ve had it since I was a kid and I’d guess the piece must be at least 50 years old. I’ve always loved it because it reminded me of the necklace Audrey Hepburn wears in Breakfast at Tiffany’s: http://images.forbes.com/images/2001/10/10/pow_400x475.jpg
Mine has 3 strands of pearls and a similar but smaller jeweled centerpiece. I think it would be considered costume jewelry. The jewels in the center are fake; however, the pearls might be real, or at least cultured.
