Silver Celtic Brooch
Weighing approximately 3.50 grams of Silver and stamped with the Silver hallmark.
This ‘Cast and Assembled’ Brooch is of solid basic design with Crossed Gem-Set Axes and would have been made circa 1975. It is considered to be of average quality with no visible wear and has been priced accordingly.
The item is secured by ‘Spring Pin and Hook’ clasp with safety ring attached, the pin measuring approx 30mm (just over the inch). This jewelry has the following special feature (6 CLAW SETTING).
Believed to originate from the owner’s Country of Origin the item has been Claw set to a Silver setting with 2 round brilliant cut Imitation Amethyst of a Deep Purple color and good clarity. The Main gemstones measure approx 5.5mm across of a good make (in proportion) and are estimated to be of a good color.
